Dual-Purpose Breeds

   Dual-Purpose means that the birds can be used for eggs or meat or both.  All of our dual purpose birds are good egg layers, laying up to 4 or 5 eggs a week, and grow to a nice size. All are considered large fowl and can weigh between 6-10lbs each. (The major weight difference is between hen and rooster, with the roosters weighing more.)
